چکیده

Various fingerprint powder preparations used for fingerprints have a color or contrast and sticky material good adhesion. However, some chemical substrates powders are toxic the potential to harm health. This research is essential overcome this problem using new natural , namely dragon fruit peel powder, as latent development that was simple, non-toxic, cheaper than commercial powder. Fingerprint carried out on non-porous surfaces (aluminium foil, CD, glass preparations) porous (HVS paper, spectra paperboard). study 90 samples based ethnicity (Batak, Javanese, Malay), blood type, gender. The of resulted in clear visualization surface aluminium foil with sizes 100 200 mesh. Meanwhile, paper poor because protrusions were not visible. most dominant patterns ethnicity, group, gender loop pattern, then whorl, smallest arch, respectively.
